Hello, my name is Kyle Van Essen, and this is my little corner of the internet. I’m a 16 year old from Ottawa, Canada. I’m pretty much infatuated with Technology, be it hardware, software, or anything in between.
My Hardware
I currently run a Mac Pro as my main machine, and a Macbook as my travel computer/media library. The Mac Pro is a 8 core 2.8ghz model, with 6gb of memory. The Macbook is a 2.0ghz model, with 2gb of memory. Both systems run Leopard. My Media player of choice is a iPod Touch, with quite a few games, and productivity apps from the app store.
Software Of Choice
During the course of my average day, this is the software I use:
- Photoshop CS3
- Smultron - For editing HTML, CSS, and PHP files
- X-Chat - IRC
- Firefox - The best PC browser
- iTunes - Podcasts & music
- Others include Cyberduck, , Adium, Photomatix Pro, iPhoto, Blender, and Skype.
Photography
I currently shoot with a stock Nikon D40. I usually like to shoot natural, as well as architectural shots. HDR is quite fun, too.
