I came across this about a year ago, and it really is a useful resource for LGPL icons. There are literally hundreds of them. They range from Top hats, to light bulbs.
There will probably be a change in schedule from May 8th, to May 12th, since I’ll be in Boston during this time. The posts will probably consist of images taken during the trip, but no Photoshop tutorials.

Proper perspective is one of the most important items in creating a nice icon. If your perspective isn’t right, then your icon won’t look right. Using Blender (or any other 3d editor), you can lay out your icon easily.

For the past week or so, I’ve been working on the logos/icons for my Portfolio and Design portions of the site. I think I’m more or less done, but I’d love for some comments on either icon. If you have an idea about what could be added, removed, or changed, please mention it!
